Downtown Birmingham Welcomes New Business

Christmas is always a busy time for shoppers in downtown Birmingham, and this year they will have a few new choices. Children's store bec & sam's and carries boy's and girl's clothing as well as bedding and furniture designed for children. Another store called Ecology sells make up and skin care products that are totally organic. The owners have found products from all over the world that fit with their theme.

Shoppers can also stop into a few new restaurants, one which was opened by the owners of Salvatore Scallopini. Luxe Bar Grill was designed to be a casual, fun atmosphere. A member of the owners family said that the burgers seem popular so far, and that the bar and grill also offers and extensive beer and wine list. The owners of Zazios in Kalamazoo also opened a second location in Birmingham.
