Be sure to mark this event on your calendar if you plan on traveling through Downtown Brooklyn that Sunday. The street festival will run for ten blocks from Fourth Avenue to Hicks Street. It will be loaded with food vendors, music and local artists. The festival is about a mile long, so wear your walking shoes.
According to the Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation, the street festival will take place rain or shine. This not-for-profit organization strives to provide cultural enrichment to the area and preserve Brooklyn's history. For more information, visit www.atlanticave.org.
