The first Mickey's you will come across are at the Marketplace Entrance, so be sure to check out the signs above the entrances, particularly the sides of the signs, and the flat fountain at the bus depot entrance, where the heads of the water tubes and the positions of the waterspouts all form classic Mickey's. There are classic Mickey's hidden throughout Disney, a classic Mickey being Mickey's head formed by three intersecting circles (a head and two ears).
Once you have found these Mickey's, head on over to Once upon a Toy, but don't go in! Take a good look at the cement outside to find a number of classic Mickey's. Next, look outside the main entrance for some Mickey's with rather unusual ears(try thinking about cars) sitting atop Lincoln Log columns. Then check out the snowflakes in the window displays, there are two different types of Mickey's hidden here.
At this point, head to Disney's Days of Christmas and notice the arrangement of the bulbs in the wreaths. Even more classic Mickey's are here.
Now it's on to Disney At Home, where the middle left of a window outside the Rainforest Cafe contains a small classic Mickey made of blue wire. In the other display window is a white classic Mickey on blue tile just on the left of the sink.
Now head toward the Team Mickey Athletic Club. Check out the Disney Vacation Club Display. Once you find that Mickey, head on down to the Lake. Look in the fence for a classic Mickey, or better yet a repeating row of them, right near the top of the railing. Then look for two different types of Mickey's on the "World's Largest Per kaleidoscope", one behind the glass in the viewing area and outside along the tower walls, and the other type in the metal of the tables and chairs in the gazebo near the Euro Spain Store..
From here, head to the Gourmet Pantry, where the tops of chairs are adorned with classic Mickey's and there are classic Mickey's just below the metal mesh of the tabletops.
Then walk on over to the World of Disney and find some light brown classic Mickey's outside of the shop sitting atop the columns. And finally, outside of Mickey's Groove, take a good look at the logo.
If you have found all of the above, then congratulations, you have successfully maneuvered the hidden Mickey's of Downtown Disney. Can you find the hundreds of others spread throughout the parks?
