Downtown Orlando: Wall Street Plaza is the Place to Be!

If you are visiting or vacationing in Orlando, Florida and are craving a fun-filled night, but don't want to go back to touristy Universal Studios or Walt Disney World, then your best bet is to go to downtown Orlando. If you decide to go this route, you are highly encouraged to check out Wall Street Plaza, located directly off Orange Avenue, in the heart of downtown Orlando. One problem with many downtown bars is that they are often too loud, too small, too preppy, and/or too crowded. You will not have that problem at Wall Street Plaza. This is kind of a "downtown within a downtown," as it consists of 8 bars, which include The Globe, Wall Street Cantina, Waitiki, Slingapour's, Tuk Tuk Room, Loaded Hog, One Eyed Jacks, and the Monkey Bar. These bars combine to offer everything you can think of, including large dance floors, comfy patios, spacious seating areas, karaoke nights, superior martinis, live bands, trivia nights, sushi, and big screens for sporting events . . . heck, you can even find BINGO at Wall Street Plaza! How many other places in downtown Orlando offer Bingo??

Unlike most other downtown establishments, you don't need to get dolled up to "fit in" at this location. You will fit in just fine, even if you are wearing a T-shirt, ripped jeans, a baseball cap, and flip flops. This place accepts all kinds! No snobs in sight!

You will find several food and drink specials throughout the week . . . and as far as weekends go, this place gets VERY festive during this time, as it offers weekend block parties and several seating areas outside, as well as free live music and other special forms of entertainment, including beer pong tables! Just be careful not to step on anybody's balls. The biggest party foul you can possibly commit is to step on (and smush) somebody's beer pong ball after it bounces off their table! So watch your step or be ready to get tackled by a drunken beer pong fanatic!

Speaking of beer pong, Wall Street Plaza is infamous for playing host to the legendary Beerlympics, which is a fierce and fun competition comprised of four special beer events: Beer Pong, Flip Cup, Quarters, and last but not least, the "Baby Bottle Contests," in which you have to chug beer from the nipple of a baby bottle. This is not an easy task!

As an additional bonus to this location, it is just a short walk away from Lake Eola, so if you have too much to drink, you can take a sobering walk around the lake before driving home. Just be careful not to FALL IN the lake, though!
