Every 3rd Saturday of the month there is a wine walk in the downtown area. Local merchants open up their business to the public, shoppers and non-shoppers alike to come inside their doors to taste a little wine and have some ordure's. This is a great opportunity for the business to showcase the products they sell, to get the community inside to see what they have to offer. It also gives area wine makers a chance to showcase their wine. Most importantly it gives you and excuse to get outside, see what our town has to offer, mingle with others, support small business and drink some tasty wines.
Reno is a growing town, and every time you go to the wine walk there is a new business involved. The wine walk never gets boring or mundane. Different people, different wines, and, different business all the time. There are all kinds of local business involved. Some of the examples are Restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee shops, salons, clothing boutiques, antique shops and art galleries. You can even check out the floor models of the condominiums that are coming soon to the downtown area. Also you can enjoy our city even more by sitting by the river and relaxing, as well as watching the kayaks go by. In the cooler months you can check out the Ice skaters at the outdoor skating rink located downtown.
It's the perfect time to get your friends together and checked out the town. It's also a good time to check out one of downtowns restaurants for dinner afterward. There's a brewery, pizza shops, coffee shops and restaurants located inside of the casinos. It's a nice relaxing and refreshing way to spend your Saturday. Don't fret if you don't have anyone to go with, you can comfortably go to this event alone, and this is a great opportunity to meet others as well. Everyone is happy and friendly especially while sipping wine! The wine walk will go on rain or shine, and is perfect any time of the year! No more excuses for being bored on Saturday afternoon. Mark you calendars for the third Saturday of the month this is an event you defiantly want to check out.
