Dr. Conrad Murray; Guilty or Innocent of Involuntary Manslaughter

Retribution for Michael Jackson?

Bill Hanks
Let the circus media begin. Opening statements begin today in the trail of Conrad Murray. Murray was the physician of Michael Jackson. Murray is on trial for the involuntary manslaughter of the King of Pop.

As opening statements were set to begin, members of the Jackson family were showing up for the beginning of the trial. This is a criminal trial. Court TV is there to cover it along with other media outlets.

Outside the courthouse are two groups of individuals. There are supporters of both sides. Many holding signs that support Conrad Murray and yet others supporting Michael Jackson. Many Jackson supporters were holding sunflowers along the sidewalk and roadway. Michael always had a strong liking for sunflowers.

Just like the OJ Simpson trial and the Phil Spector trial, this appears to be the norm for high profile court cases in California.

One person tried to rush up to Dr. Murray in the hallway to the courtroom. However, the police quickly detained the individual. It is not known the motive of the individual.

So begins the first day of the media circus that surrounds this case. From what you currently know, is Dr. Murray innocent or guilty? Stay tuned!

I don't know enough to say, though I will say that Jackson was a strange man. He did a lot of things to himself and his reputation, so I would not be surprised if his death was his own fault.
