Dr. Du-More's Toothbrushes Eco-Friendly Product Review

Biodegradable Toothbrush

Allison West
A few years ago, after using a whitening toothpaste that really aggravated my sensitive gums, I searched in vain for a toothbrush that would be gentle on my mouth. It seemed like the extra soft toothbrushes didn't really clean my teeth, but those labeled soft were still hard on my gums.

One day I saw a toothbrush called Dr. Du-More's and I purchased this soft, eco-friendly toothbrush. I was thrilled with the way that Dr. Du-More's toothbrush was so gentle on my delicate gums while it thoroughly cleaned my teeth. Now I'm a loyal user of Dr. Du-More's eco-friendly toothbrushes and I wouldn't buy any other toothbrush to clean my teeth.

Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes provide gentle, effective oral care, and this product has just the right texture that doesn't irritate my teeth and gums. I also appreciate that eco-friendly Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes are made of green plastic that fully biodegrades without leaving behind any toxic substances to harm the earth.

The Benefits of Using Dr. Du-More's Toothbrushes

I've tried a variety of toothbrushes over the last few years, and Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes are by far the gentlest on my teeth and gums. I use Dr. Du-More's Renew toothbrush, and other toothbrushes in the Dr. Du-More's product line include Dr. Du-More's Brightening Tip, Plak Attack and Classic toothbrushes (Dr. Du-More's Classic toothbrush has a square head and flat handle, while the Dr. Du-More's Renew toothbrush has a longer, tapered handle and a rounder head).

Dr. Du-More's Renew toothbrush is easy to grip and fits well in my hand, and the slight angle of the head makes it easy to really clean my teeth. Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes come in a range of fun colors to brighten up your bathroom, and all Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes feature soft, high quality bristles that are end rounded and polished, so Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes are super gentle for even the most sensitive mouths.

I really appreciate that Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes are 100 percent green products, made of FDA compliant material and manufactured in the USA. I feel good about using these sustainable Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes that are "oxo-biodegradable." Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes are made of a "green plastic" that gradually biodegrades to water, humus and carbon dioxide, and doesn't leave behind any harmful plastic contaminants in the soil.

Where to Buy Dr. Du-More's Toothbrushes

I usually purchase my Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes at my local Wal-Mart, where they sell for about 80 cents per toothbrush. If you have sensitive gums and you're looking for a toothbrush that will clean your teeth without hurting your mouth, try Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes. I think you'll be very pleased with this gentle, effective toothbrush that doesn't pollute the environment.

The Dr. Du-More's toothbrushes have disappeared from my local Wal-Mart, the only place I have found locally that carries them. I have a few toothbrushes left that say Renew, and the packaging indicates Soft/Medium. They feel just like a soft toothbrush to me though. I hope I will be able to find this product again, it is a great toothbrush, ideal for sensitive teeth and gums.

I love Dr. Du-More's, but can I get the renew in just soft or is the texture of the brush now only Soft/Medium? Thanks ahead of time someone for answering my question. When I called a online carrier of Dr. Du-more's a representative told me that the product only comes in Soft/Medium. When I go to Dr. Du-more's website, the picture of the Renew toothbrush packaging says Soft/Medium.

The Dr. Du More's toothbushes are the only toothbrushes I like to use. They are just perfect all the way around. My local Wal-Mart used to sell them but I can't find them there any more. Where else can I get them?
