"Dr." Phil Bails Out Troubled Teen

Bartow, FL- During the last week producers of tv therapist Dr. Phil bailed out a troubled teenager involved in a assault. No, not the teenager that was quite brutally beat up, but one of her attackers. According the the show, they were planning on running a spot on the Dr. Phil television show about the violent attack, and had bailed out the teen for the story. They were planning using her during the show, they have since canceled the segment. The staff member(s) involved in this, according a spokes man "have been spoken to", and the cited cause for the cancellation of the episode was "the guidelines of the show had been compromised".

The ages of the attackers range in the age of 14 through 17, and the bail ranges from $30,000 $37,000. They face life in prison from charges ranging from kidnapping to aggravated assault. As it stands now, they will be tried as adults. The girl assaulted as the time of this article being written is still suffering hearing loss and loss of the sight in her left eye.

As for the television show, other than the all to obvious play for ratings that have seemingly backfired, they may be loosing a lot more than the story for that single show. Along with the respect that it had one attained from it's audience, many of whom feel that this was too far over the line. Rightfully so, there has been some albeit limited talk of a boycott making it's way through the Internet.

Dr. Phil once was looked at someone whom was willing to help out people who had turmoil in their lives, helping them achieve where before they could not. However he has recently come underfire bot for this case and his "interview" with Britany Spears earlier this year.
