Dr. Phil - Hydrogen Peroxide and Teeth Equal Mystery

How Can Something so Useful Not Be Talked About More?

DrD
You love a good mystery don't you? One where figuring out the people in it is tough, one where figuring out the base of the mystery is tough, and one where the reward of figuring it out is worthwhile, that's the one you love to do, isn't it? The person in this instance has a name, which everyone assumes they understand, Dr. Phil, uh, except they are making a bad presumption there, that it is Dr. Phil that they know that we are talking about. On the other hand, it does move your attention away from the base of the mystery, which in this instance is, Hydrogen Peroxide and teeth, makes you want to sink your teeth into it, doesn't it?

All great mysteries have a crux issue, Sherlock Holmes always revolved around the crux issue of, remove all the impossible clues in the case, and whatever remains, however improbable, will be the truth. Indiana Jones revolved around the crux issue of artifact retrieval and proving Archaeology (Not to mention his papa!). This quick mystery revolves around a substance not spoken of, much, and that is a mystery considering how well it works.

Before we get to the crux of the substance on this one, however, let's do a personal testimonial. Would you agree that it's not fair to talk about a product, if it hasn't worked for the one doing the talking? This does happen, professional reps talk this "trash" all the time; but in this instance, personal use is being testified to. Hydrogen Peroxide not only did what my bud told me it would, at first, it seemed to me he was puttin' me on, it crossed my mind that he might be playing a joke on me, and wouldn't it be funny when what he said to do resulted in an awful end? But this testimonial is about that not happening - the opposite happened, he said; "hey try it, it worked for me, just don't swallow it, just swish it around in your mouth for about a minute or two." It worked, it cleared up the sores, and now it keeps them away.

Dr. Philip Tierno, affectionately known to his friends as Dr. Phil, advocates the use of Hydrogen Peroxide, and he isn't the only Dr. doing so: "Common tooth whitening products, which have been used by millions of people, are found to be safe and do not increase the risk of oral cancer when used as directed. This exhaustive review of the literature, including numerous unpublished clinical studies involving over 4,000 human subjects, appeared in an article by Dr. Ian Monroe entitled, " Use of Hydrogen Peroxide-Based Tooth Whitening Products and it Relationship to Oral Cancer," published in Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry." Usually in an article like this, that would be it, mystery solved, right? Conversation would wind down and the writer would put a conclusion on it, something like, "and so there you have it, the improbable truth about Dr. Phil and Hydrogen Peroxide." That would be it, the clincher about using it, and how it could prove to you that it works if you just check out these web sites: Science Daily , Snopes.com and Earth Clinic , and you'd be done, end of mystery, only, that's not the way this one is going to wrap up.

I, too, love Hydrogen Peroxide and you may actually be helping your heart as well as your mouth ( my dentist says that there is a confirmed link between heart disease and gum inflammation or inflammation anywhere in the body). Amazing how the two could be connected, isn't it?
