Dr. Phil Negotiates Agreement Between OctoMom and Angels in Waiting

Can This Agreement Provide Help for All 14 of OctoMom's Children?

Dr. Phil negotiated an agreement between OctoMom Nadya Suleman and the Angels In Waiting, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping America's forgotten foster children.

On Thursday's episode of his daytime talk show, Dr. Phil announced an agreement between OctoMom Nadya Suleman and non-profit organization Angels In Waiting, which has agreed to provide 24-hour/7-days-a-week "wrap-around" care for not just Nada's octuplets, but for all fourteen of her children, to begin immediately.

After several failed attempts, Dr. Phil mediated a private meeting held at his house and attended by Angels In Waiting representatives and their attorney, Gloria Allred, plus Nadya Suleman and her representative, who has since been let go. The end result of the meeting was that an agreement was reached by all parties for Angels In Waiting to provide 24/7 wrap-around care for all 14 of her children. The agreement states that there will be no change in custody, and no change in legal care. Dr. Phil emphasized that the care and monitoring of the children would be "transparent."

It seems as if all parties have decided to put aside their differences for the benefit of the health and welfare of the children. A Declaration of Principles, a mission statement agreement, has been drawn up and signed by all parties. It states that the children's care will be a highly and closely monitored situation. Dr. Phil stated, "Things are moving in a positive direction." A representative from Angels in Waiting stated, "There's a sense of urgency because we're bringing home eight preemies." Of the agreement, Nadya stated, "I am extremely excited and relieved. Everything is falling into place."

Nadya opened up with Dr. Phil and finally admitted that getting impregnated with so many embryos when she already had six children at home was not a good idea. However, she stated that she's glad all of her children "are here."

Dr. Phil also announced that OctoMom Nadya has secured a new residence. Nadya described it as a modest 2,000 square foot, 4 bedroom home, and that she plans to turn the den into a nursery. At first she will place four cribs in the room, and put two babies in each crib. All fourteen children, 10 boys and 4 girls, will eventually live in this new residence. Again, Dr. Phil emphasized that proper care and safety will be provided, and this care will be completely monitored.

Nadya went on to explain that very soon four of the babies will be ready to come home. She and Angels In Waiting will spend the next 2-3 days readying the new residence. Once a social worker from the hospital visits the home, and deems it as safe, the babies will be released from the hospital, two at a time.

Dr. Phil explained that donations will be accepted on the Angels In Waiting website, and that all contributions will be separately supervised so that the funds will go directly towards the care of the children. There will also be a donation drop-off on Saturday in Los Angeles

Like the rest of the country, my heart goes out to these helpless babies, and my soul is hopeful that Angels In Waiting came into the picture at exactly he right tie. Despite the complete Irresponsibility of Nadya, she seems to be on a better track than before Dr. Phil's intervention. Only time will tell where her path will lead.

I think this to be so wrong Looking at her recieving all the help and gifts on show to me and few friends she actually acted as though she is due this. I guess next she gets full time housekeeper because she will be too busy doing other things. I feel for the children. I wonder my home gets sold in 2 weeks (foreclosure) because of the economy not that I do not WORK everyday I just can't get any help. I am a single mom of two beautiful girls and a proud mom as I give all of me to my family and work and we will survive together I do not expect taxpayers to keep me or my children. This is why I can lay my head down at night and not feel guilty that I am a nutty fruitcake using people and my children to act like I am some big hero Octomom just remember this WHAT COMES AROUND GOES AROUND and you will get yours in due time...

Well she got what she wants,MONEY,FAME,FREE HOME.and doesn't have to ever work again. The "doctor",who impregnated this idiot should have to pay for the kids until 18yo.I feel so sorry for the kids to have a mom that is using them for her own gain.
