Many people seem to be getting tattoos nowadays. It seems for many teenagers who become 18, this becomes a rate of passage. However, your common tattoo parlor can be very intimidating to step into, much less get a tattoo from one of the artists there. If you are ready to get your first tattoo and want to go somewhere that is friendly and not intimidating then head on down to Dragon tattoo in Wahiawa on the island of Oahu.

This is the place that I got my very first tattoo. When I turned 18 I really wanted to get a tattoo on my upper back, but had second thoughts because many of tattoo parlors I had visited were very intimidating to someone as young as I was at the time. While I was driving around I decided to check out a small tattoo parlor that I had seen on numerous occasions, but had never gone into. The name of the parlor was Dragon tattoo. There was just one artist there who owned the place. He was an older gentleman that was not pushy at all and told me up front how much it would cost to get the tattoo that I wanted to get.

The whole process was very easy and in a matter of hours I was out of there with my brand-new tattoo and a big smile on my face. I think the best part of the whole experience was the fact that it did not cost me as much as I thought it would have. Many other tattoo artists had given me price quotes that were a little out of my price range, so this visit to Dragon made my decision much easier.

Getting a tattoo can be a scary experience if you are not comfortable with the parlor or the tattoo artist. When you are doing something this permanent on your body, then you had better go with a parlor that you feel comfortable at. This cannot be stressed enough, especially if this is your first tattoo. If you are ever in Wahiawa on the island of Oahu and want to get your first tattoo or just another tattoo, then head on over to Dragon. You will be happy with the level of customer service and the friendly atmosphere that can be found at this parlor. Oh, and the best part is that getting a tattoo here won't cost you an arm and a leg leaving you with some cash to spend elsewhere.
