Drama Continues on the Real Housewives of Atlanta

Nene and Sheree's Dinner Turns into a "Kim-frontation"

How do you keep the drama coming after last week's showdown between Sheree and Anthony, the party planner? Though this week's episode started off slow and was a little sleepy in some parts, it followed the premiere's trend by saving the best for last.

For the second week in a row, Sheree's friend, Tania made an appearance (and from the looks of next week's preview, she'll be back again. Might another Housewife be joining the cast?) Over guacamole, Sheree filled Tania in on the verbal altercation between her and Anthony. Later, we see Tania teach Sheree how to fire a gun (apparently, Tania was in the Army and is quite familiar with weaponry). Just imagine if Sheree'd had a gun last week!

Lisa and her husband, Ed move forward with Operation Babymaking by visiting a fertility specialist and getting the 411 on what happens when women over 35 try to conceive. Ed seems really gung ho (check out his skills in the kitchen), Lisa, less so. I did cringe at the sight of Lisa on that massage table and later seeing the pair in the hot tub (though her bikini strap was visible, so I did breathe a small sigh of relief.) I still think there will be an announcement at the Reunion special.

This week, new Housewife, Kandi dealt with the drama surrounding her fiancé and his six children. In addition to Internet chatter about the situation, Kandi's mother disapproves of the match. Time will tell if Kandi and her man make it down the aisle or if the stress of the situation will overwhelm Kandi. Jury is still out on the new Housewife, as she has yet to interact with anyone aside from Lisa. The Housewives franchise is at its best when the women engage with each other. That's what brings the drama and let's face it, we love the drama. Otherwise, why would we watch?

We got the "pleasure" of watching Kim prance around in custom-made clothes courtesy of her personal designer, all while waving her sixth appendage around (that would be her ever-present cigarette.) I did a double take when I noticed the nude portrait of Kim in her bedroom. Just when you think it can't get any more outrageous...you see a nude portrait of Kim in her bedroom.

Nene reached out to Kim to try and mend fences, though we learn later Nene had a bit of an ulterior motive. The former BFF's met up over margaritas in an attempt to smooth out their friendship. Nene tries to convince Kim to sit down with all the girls and get the issues out on the table. Kim seems nervous and consents only when Nene says Lisa won't join the powwow. Kim's reluctance to meet with Lisa seems suspicious so we'll have to "Watch What Happens."

Sheree and Nene stage a "Kim-tervention," though it was more like a "Kim-frontation." The evening started off light and fun, (loved when Kim pulled out that helmet for protection) but it was clear Nene and Sheree wanted Kim to 'fess up to the alleged lies Kim has been spreading around town. The patrons at that restaurant got a show with their dinner as the Kim-frontation got heated while f-bombs dropped left and right. Kim stormed out of the restaurant with Sheree hot on her heels. Like Nene, I too am unsure who to believe. Looks like a good old-fashioned hair-pulling fight is on tap for next week. My money is on Sheree, cause she just might call Pookie and them before she whips out her .22.

Until next week!
