If you care about your dreams and you write them down at least once in a while, you'll be surprised with the result!
I'm going to share with you an example, so that you may verify how much a simple dream can reveal to the dreamer:
"I had a dream in my uncle's last house. Uncle, his wife and his senior daughter were there. I was in his house and his daughter had a horse and was riding it in the hall. It was light brown and I was looking for the other one to ride, but there was nothing. My uncle went out and the door bell rang. When we opened the door he and his wife were in front of us and he wore a black shirt and his wife was looking at me badly (she seemed angry)"
I asked the dreamer to send me more details about her dream:
"You have to tell me how you think of your uncle and your aunt - what they represent to you, so that I can understand their meaning in your dream. Please, tell me also how you think of your cousin, their daughter, who also appears in the dream.
Depending on what each of them brings to mind for you, you attribute characteristics to them. When I understand what they signify to you I will be able to translate this dream properly. Keep in mind that when other people appear in your dreams, they are parts of your personality, but we can only understand what part of us they represent after we determine how we think about them. For example, suppose that your uncle is a liar, then he represents your tendency to lie. Or let's say that your aunt is very quiet, so she represents your tendency to be quiet, and so on.
Every time you send me a dream where someone else appears, you need to define this person so that I can understand what they represent to you. So, I'm waiting for the details.
Now, the horse in dreams means courage. Since only your cousin was riding the horse, it means that she has the courage to do something that you don't have the courage to do, because you were not able to ride the horse. The brown color means support. So, your cousin is showing courage by giving support to someone. Now, you have to tell me how you characterize her so that I can finish translating this dream.
About the end of the dream, I will be able to interpret it after you tell me how you think of your uncle and aunt.
Tell me also something about your life, not just your dreams. How have you been doing?"
And here is her answer:
"About my uncle he is kind his wife is so active and his daughter is pretty, attractive and kind but at least I think they IGNORE me. But about Biography, the "about my life" part is a piece of my biography in last email."
So, I could translate completely her dream:
"You are inside your uncle's psyche (his house). However, he is a part of your personality, so the characteristics of his personality are found also in yours.
You think of him simply as "kind", so he represents your kindness. (What you said in the end: "all of them ignore me", shows you that you think these parts of your personality are not working, while they are quite active inside you.)
First, you are in this part of your psyche (your uncle's house) alone with your cousin. You characterize her as pretty, attractive and kind; that means she represents your own capacity to attract men.
She, the beautiful, can ride the horse. This means that the part of your personality that is able to attract men can be courageous, while keeping its kindness, since you are at your uncle's house, because he represents your own kindness.
Now, let's go back to my translation of this part of the dream before you told me how you characterize your uncle, aunt and cousin:
The horse in dreams means courage. Since only your cousin was riding the horse, it means that she has the courage to do something that you don't have the courage to do, because you were not able to ride the horse. The brown color means support. So, your cousin is showing courage by giving support to someone."
When we put it all together:
"When you are dominated by your kindness and you feel you are attractive, you have the courage to give your support to the men that like you. In other words, when you are not afraid that you are ugly and not attractive at all, but you are confident that you are beautiful and attractive, it makes it easy for men that like you to approach you.
You make things easy, being kind, understanding, and doing things that help you both be together. You are not distant and indifferent.
On the other hand, there is a part of you that keeps being afraid (you, the center of the human part of your conscience) - you cannot find your horse and ride it like your cousin.
So, even though you are kind (because you are inside your uncle's house) you have no courage at all with men, like the part of your personality that believes that you are attractive (your cousin, who rides the brown horse).
This means you have to learn to acquire courage and believe that you are attractive all the time, so that you will have the right attitude around men and help them get close to you, instead of being isolated and afraid, which makes stay away.
If you are cold and insecure, you turn them down with this attitude. They feel despised; they won't have the courage to approach you. So, you have to show courage and help them, in order to keep their courage alive. That's how things work. You cannot expect a man to approach you, and show you that he likes you, if you are distant and cold, and you don't help him in any way.
In the end of the dream, your kindness (your uncle) and your good disposition (your very active aunt) are angry with you because of your behavior. Why? Because you cannot ride the horse: you are too afraid and you keep turning men down with your distant attitude. So, your kindness wears a black shirt: it accepts your cowardice even though it is bad: you have no courage to help men approach you!
So, from now on, you have to care about helping guys that care for you. Give them the chance to approach you. You cannot be an iceberg and expect them to confess that they love you... Believe in your charm! You are attractive! Help them get close to you!"
You saw in this example how much the dreamer had to learn, just by analyzing a small dream!
The dreamer's English is poor and we don't know many details about her life, however, just by translating her dream using the scientific method, I was able to understand her primary mistake and the guidance of the unconscious mind.
You can do the same, by analyzing your own dreams!
