Dreaming About Hallways

Dreamland!

Dina Montgomery
This is for Janet Hunt, she asked about her dream about her walking down a hallway and not being able to get to the end. So here you go Janet, I hope it helps you to understand a little better.

While dreaming of a hallway, this could symbolize a path that you are currently taking in your waking life. If the hallway that you envision has many doors, this could signify that you have many opportunities and possibilities waiting for you right now in your waking life.

If the hallway in your dream doesn't appear to have any doors and then it seems to end abruptly, this could symbolize that you have taken a path without having room to grow or it doesn't have many opportunities. This could mean that you are stuck in a rut, or that your life feels stagnating.

If the hallway in your dream does have doors but when you reach out to open one of them, they are stuck or locked, this may symbolize that you need to stay on the straight and narrow path that you are currently on right now. Don't allow yourself to get too distracted right now.

When dreaming that you are walking down a hallway and it seems to go on forever, not letting you get to the end, this could symbolize that you have a long journey ahead in your waking life. But don't be alarmed or fearful, it may take you into some interesting places and may give you the ability to grow. It could be an exciting time for you.

When you are dreaming of walking down a hallway that is long and you see that it is made of smooth wooden floors, take charge and put on some socks, and take off running down the hallway and slide down it as fast as you can. This most likely signifies that you are feeling free and want to take charge of your life, you feel good about where your life if going right now. Celebrate!

Life takes us for a spin sometimes and dreams can say a lot of how we are feeling. Embrace what you feel and don't ever feel fearful, for you can always turn your life around for the better if you stay faithful and focused. May you all have wonderful dreams.

very interesting, I'll have to remember this. I have a recurring dream that I have moved to a different home,it is always a different and much larger place than I live now, and I always find a hidden room full of wonderful treasure, whether it be money, jewelry or just really neat things left behind from the previous owner.

Interesting. I guess Jabet's dream (w/o doors or an end) must mean she is going to live a long time. Or at least have a long journey ahead of her.)

I recently had a strange dream about walking down a long dim reddish hallway. It did have doors and mirrors everywhere but I only went through a door near the very end of the hallway after a long long walk...

Wow Dina! I am just now reading this. What a fascinating analysis! My hall has no end, no door, and I never get to the end! Thanks so much for helping me understand this dream!! :-)

oh, girl, I loved this! :-) You are right on target. Good job. I once dreamed of a long hallway with many doors and I ended up going back through where I came. I landed with family and security. :-) I was terrified of all of the doors, sensing they meant danger.
I have never had this dream again and I felt a sense of happiness and peace when I went back through the place that led me to the long hallway. I woke glad to be home. :-)
