The story

A young princess lives on the outside of the city called Ashanti. Her brother, styles, brought her up after the warlord xyber killed her parents, the king and queen (Machiavelli and Khelis) when he came and took over their castle. Neither of them have ever gone back to the castle and they lived in a gang somewhere out of this world with Styles girl Chic.

But for some reason Xyber wouldn't leave them alone and sure enough one day he found the small gang living in the place they called City Limits. Xyber had come with his army of fighters and they didn't stand a chance. He burned down their houses and killed everyone except the beautiful young princess Ashanti. Her brother and Chic were dead.

Xyber took Ashanti to the land she had never been to once called the city of life Rayshine. It was now called the City of darkness and a place of sadness, the Darkmoon. Xyber had claimed to have taken over the power of the night and controlled the moon and stars. Sometimes he looked up at his moon and called for the great moon power of light to help him - the moon would glow and a bright light surround him - when he did this he also made things he wanted to happen come true

One day Ashanti was walking around in a place away from the city of Darkmoon called the Desert and saw a young man sitting staring up at the sky. He smiled at her and she went up to him and asked him who he was. He said his name was Cameo. They fell in love and planned to run away from Xyber and his land. But Xyber was watching everywhere and found the two of them together. He took Cameo down to his dark caves leaving him there forever as if he was dead. He kept Ashanti trapped in the castle. He planned to marry her he said but she hated him. He wanted her to have his son. Like that he would control the Darkmoon once and for all and his power would be so great that nobody would be able to stop him.

Ashanti cried and cried and called out for her parents she had never known. If only there was some way out of this desert place or some way she could be free again, but nothing changed. She called for Cameo and dreamt about him in her dreams. They lived somewhere else where sun shone and moon lit up the sky at night.

Xyber was planning to take control of 3 nearby cities at the time of the next moon and then he would marry Ashanti. The next moon was only 2 weeks away. Ashanti knew this and was worried. She tried to think of a way to get out the castle, maybe get to Cameo. Then one night she had a dream. She was young and her brother Styles was there. Her mother and father, Machiavelli and Khelis were planning a party they were going to have another baby. In the dream there were so many others in the house, laughing and preparing for the party. There was going to be dancing and music all night and her parents were going to tell everyone that they were having another child.

When Ashanti was helping her father upstairs in the castle a strange thing happened a shadow came across the sun and everything went dark. A light appeared in the room and it was as if time had stopped. There was only the 2 of them there. Her father looked at her and said Ashanti look at the light. Can you see it's magic? You have the power of darkness and light, don't forget it, you can use it to help you one day. But what do you mean she said? He said we come from a place far far away from here filled with magic, known as the place of light, darkness and all magic, called Dreamland or D-ream. One day we were taken from our home in D-ream and time stopped. We were brought here to this land and made it our own. Everything you see has been made with magic even the sun and the moon and one day on the night of the full moon we always say we shall all go back home. Death means nothing here as time stopped and all we live in is a time we made until that day. But when the full moon comes you have to be ready. I have seen it in a dream Ashanti, you will be the one to help us go back home, Machiavelli said. You have to find the necklace your mother gave you for your birthday and hold it to the moon on this special night. But how do I know which moon time she asked him? He said you'll know because you'll dream of a place a place far far away called D-ream.

The next night she had a dream. A big wind had come into the room and the windows flew open. Ashanti went to shut the window and at that moment a shadow passed over the moon just like in the dream. She saw a beautiful place filled with different colors, it must be Fantasia. Cameo was standing he said don't worry about me Ashanti, I have escaped and am hiding near Darkmoon. I have friends with me; we'll come and get you. It won't be long now and soon we'll be together again and this land will be forgotten.

She also saw the 2 people she knew as her parents but they were still young, she saw Styles and ran to him he held out his hand - he said its true what our father said you'll see the moon soon. Try and find the necklace, I know you can find it, hold it to the moon at midnight, time will begin again and we shall all go back to D-ream. Don't be scared little sister, you'll see how the future will change. The dream started to disappear, a shadow passed over the moon and the room lit up again. Ashanti woke up and heard Xyber talking loudly to his friends downstairs. He was planning for the party and their wedding. She hoped her dream about D-ream, her family, Cameo and the others was true.

Ashanti had made a few friends in secret at the castle called Raider, Stefani and Cube. She went to find them and told them about the dream. They said they would help her find the necklace but they would have to be careful so that Xyber didn't find out. After 5 days they almost gave up when they found a hidden room in the castle by accident when they were checking through some old things they had found. In the room they also found a large box filled with money, gold and lots of jewels. They looked through the whole box. Cube and Raider had a bag and started filling it with the money and gold. Suddenly they saw one of the necklaces shining with a light and they knew this was the one. They took what they could out of the room and left quickly. No one had seen them and they began to prepare for the full moon

1 week passed and it was time for Xyber's party. Everyone was scared; if Xyber's plans worked they would be trapped under his power forever. Raider, Cube, Stefani and Ashanti hoped that the dream was true and they would all go back to D-ream. They planned to run to a nearby hill on Darkmoon near midnite. It wouldn't be too difficult as there would be so many people there. Xyber wouldn't notice as long as Ashanti was back by midnite to stand with him and by then they would be back in D-ream.

Later that night as Ashanti got ready she hid the necklace in her pocket. Xyber was very happy his plans were going well. The party began when the night started, there were lots of dancers and singers and so much food. Everybody was there and she knew it would be easy to hide from Xyber but she was still scared, what if it didn't work?

Just before midnite the four went to the hill on Darkmoon. Ashanti took the necklace out of her pocket and held it up to the moon. Midnite came and they could hear Xyber started playing his music and chanting at the moon waiting for the power to take over. Ashanti and the others were losing hope when suddenly something happened. The moon started to glow and the whole place lit up. Time had stopped. Xyber and his friends stood still and suddenly a great cloud appeared over the sky. The wind started blowing, this was it, the friends all held hands. Cameo was there, running towards Ashanti she ran to him as well. Then suddenly the place changed, there was so much life and so many colors, just like in the dream. It must be Fantasia. Xyber and Darkmoon disappeared into the shadows. They were really in D-ream, the place of dreams, the Dreamland they had never been to before. Machiavelli and Khelis were standing there smiling, so was Styles and Chic. The plan had worked, time stopped and they had returned to D-ream.

Tonite her mother said we will all have a big party, and dance and sing all night. Time stopped and we have come back home to Dreamland. We always knew this day would come, thanks to Ashanti, her friends we're free forever
