Dreams that Speak to You

Harold Dean Sink
I awake again from another dream to find myself wondering how I could analyze it so quickly. Most are just gibberish, while others seem so real. It is the latter that worries me since they tend to make me wonder how I wound up where I am when I awake.

Then there are dreams that you just know are a message from God or someone else. These all too real dreams or interpreted dreams are as clear as can be, and of what is to come about someday. These dreams make one sit up and wonder, "Why me?"

Let's say you dreamt of owning the same car you have owned before, yet when you get home it is different. Does that mean you foresee a vehicle you are going to own? Maybe it means that you are going to help someone home who owns that type of car.

Maybe you are living in a house that you never lived in before, but in each new dream you are in a different house again. This may mean you are indecisive of what you want in a house or where you want to live. Could it also be that you are not happy with your current living conditions?

Most dreams are of thoughts you have had through the day. If you are like me, and believe in God, then you also know that God can speak to anyone He wants when they are asleep. Those mentioned in the Bible who were spoken to in dreams are not the only ones to whom God has spoken.

Anyone can write a book on interpreting dreams. Psychologists have written books on them. This does not mean they know everything at all. When Joseph interpreted the Pharaoh's dreams he did not consult with another person to help him. God revealed it to Joseph.

Which brings down to something you may be interested in knowing. Throughout my life I have dreamed in various ways of the coming of Jesus Christ. Does this mean He will come in my lifetime? Maybe that is exactly what they mean or it could be that I anticipate His coming.

This brings on another question. Surely I am not the only person on the planet having these sorts of dreams. Does anyone else dream of this? As Adam Sandler would sing in his song in "Mixed Nuts," ..."Oh, so many things to wonder."

Yes this is much to think upon and ponder. What do your dreams tell you?

I don't write as much as I used to, but I do find it as a way to put my thoughts on paper or on the computer.  View profile
