DreamWorks Unveils It's Lineup

DreamWorks, one of the most recognized film distributors in the world, has several high-profile releases slated for release in the next few years. The upcoming films are listed below in chronological order of release:

Kung Fu Panda:

Kung Fu Panda is set to be released on June 8, 2008. Many famous people are doing voice-overs in this movie, including Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, and Angeline Jolie. The plot surrounds a panda which learns Kung Fu to fight a leopard from taking over her village.

Madagascar 2: The Crate Escape:

The sequel to the smash hit Madagascar is set to be released on November 7, 2008. All of the major characters from the original movie will return. Little is known about the plot, although it is confirmed that the movie will take place in Africa.

Monsters vs. Aliens:

Monsters vs. Aliens is set to be released on March 27, 2009. The film's basic plot surrounds a group of monsters saving the planet from a destructive alien overlord. Starting with this movie, all future film releases by DreamWorks will be in the 3rd dimension.

How to Train Your Dragon:

How To Train Your Dragon will be released to the public on November 20,
2009. The movie will be based on Cressida Cowell's children books. The actual plot of the movie is unknown, though it I likely to be similar to Cowell's first book in her "Dragon" series.

Shrek Goes Fourth:

Dreamworks most popular franchise returns on May 21, 2010. Reprising their roles, all of the original cast members will return to voice the 4th Shrek. Shrek Goes Fourth will be released as a 3D Imax film, although a 2D version will also be made.

Crood Awakenings:

Crood Awakenings, originally set to be a co-production with Aardman Animations, is now set to be released around the end of 2010. Due to the partnership split between DreamWorks and Aardman, the script for Crood Awakenings is currently being rewritten. This film takes place in pre-historic times.

Puss In Boots:

Antonio Banderas will star in this animated spin off from the Shrek series. This movie has not yet began production and it is unknown when it will be released. There are many rumors circulating around the internet that this film will be released straight-to-video.

Shrek 5:

Recently announced by DreamWorks, Shrek 5 will be the final Shrek movie and will start production in a few years. It is rumored that Shrek 5 will be released in 2013.
