That Means It's Time to Make Your Summer Look Gradually Change into Your Fall Look

It's that time of year - the kids are back in school, the leaves are starting to turn and there's a nip in the air.

That means it's time to make your summer look gradually change into your fall look.

No need to start over with a new fall wardrobe, you already have pieces in your summer wardrobe that will look great into autumn with a few changes. And, you'll save a bit of money to splurge on something great!

Take a pair of cotton, or gabardine pants of any length and add a jacket or sweater vest for a professional, pulled-together look that will take you into the office on the cooler fall days. Or, take a dark green or tan sweater and tie it over your hips for an autumn look; when it gets colder, you have an instant jacket.

A terrific cotton knit sweater will look great for fall especially if it's in a bronze, tangerine, or brown fall color. It's a great layering piece for the cooler evenings too. Maybe you wore it with shorts last summer; now wear it with a pair of jeans.

Denim is a great fabric for all seasons. If you have a denim mini skirt you wore in summer, pair it up with that cotton knit or layer a cardigan sweater over a matching or contrasting tee.

Have a nice summer dress made from microfiber or cotton. If so, the material is a wonderful weight to wear in different climates. Take that summer dress and pair it up with high heel platforms or boots for a different look. Add a lightweight sweater and you're good to go.
