Drew Peterson's son was accused of giving contradictory testimony regarding the disappearance of Stacy Peterson. Stacy was the fourth wife of Stephen's father, Dew Peterson. Peterson, as you will remember, is in jail charged with the drowning death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Stephen took 3 weapons from his dad's house in Bolingbrook, Illinois so that they wouldn't be confiscated by police during a search of the home. Not only did he take the weapons, he did not report that to the police. He also forgot to mention that there was $236,800 more money in his bank account, money Drew transferred to the son's account.
Drew Peterson's son, Stephen, told the board he didn't feel like he had to tell them anything because he was just helping his father. He doesn't feel that what he did has anything to do with his duties as a police officer. What? If you buy that one, something is wrong! The Oak Brook board didn't buy it thank goodness!
Drew Peterson' son, Stephen, has at least one person on his side regarding this situation. Guess who that is? The elder Peterson believes that his son will be back on the police force after an appeal. Naturally Drew thinks that his son was targeted because of who he is. But don't forget, Dew doesn't admit his own wrong doings.
The Oak Brook police department and the citizens are better off without Stephen Peterson on the police force. It seems that the acorn truly doesn't fall far from the tree, and this is a perfect example.
Will Drew Peterson ever admit to killing Kathleen? Will he admit to killing Stacy? Will Stacy's body ever be found? Why are so many woman attracted to this man? What is it about him that makes the women fall for him? Falling for Drew Peterson is a death wish. Hopefully, there will be no more victims.

Post a CommentWhoa, I'm with Thomas. Sounds like a whole buffet of crimes going on here--tampering with evidence, impeding an investigation, perjury, etc. The old apple/ tree thing comes immediately to mind!
I can't believe that this guy and his son are still free.
Great article and he's definitely freaky!
Just fired? I'm surprised the son wasn't jailed.
Thanks for this interesting article. I had not heard about this situation. Good job.
Stephen deserved to be fired. He was a law officer and he aided and abetted. I'd love to know if Stephen knows where Stacy is.
Conflicting testimony is a red flag!
I hadn't heard about this....Great report!!
He is getting what he deserves the police force has no place for dishonest men and women.
There's just something that makes me feel unclean when I read about this person.
