Drinks Perfect for the Holiday Season

Guests Will Enjoy These Great Drinks

Looking to serve a few special drinks for your next Halloween or Christmas party? Try these and add a spark to your guests.

The Salem Witch

½ oz vodka

½ raspberry schnapps

½ oz midori

Splash lime juice

Sour mix

Soda water

Splash grenadine

Pour vodka, schnapps, midori over ice. Ash splash of lime juice Add sour mix then soda water. Stir and add dash of grenadine.

Witch's Brew

2 oz yellow chartreuse

1 ½ oz blue Curacao

½ oz spiced brandy

½ teaspoon ground cloves

Dash nutmeg

Dash allspice

Combine all ingredients over ice and shake. Serve with olive frozen in ice cubes.

The Snowflake

1 ½ oz pear liqueur

3 oz milk

Crushed ice

3 oz 7-up

Mix liqueur and milk and pour over ice. Add 7-up.

The White Christmas

1 part crème de banana

1 part white crème de cacao

1 part scotch whiskey

1 part double cream

Grated chocolate

Shake ingredients together and then top with grated chocolate. This one is special!

Egg Nog

12 eggs

1 cup bourbon

1 cup cognac

½ teaspoon salt

3 pints heavy cream

1 cup sugar

Few dashes of nutmeg

Beat egg yolks. Slowly add bourbon and cognac and continue beating. Chill for 3 hours. Beat egg whites and salt. Whip cream until stiff foam occurs. Fold whipped cream into yolk mixture. Then add egg whites. Chill for one hour. Serve in a bowl with dashes of nutmeg on top.

The Christmas Drunk

3 oz midori

2 oz whiskey

1 oz apple schnapps

4 oz sour mix

Maraschino cherries

Mix midori, whiskey and schnapps and pour over ice. Fill with sour mix and add maraschino cherries.

The Happy New Year

¼ oz brandy

¾ oz ruby port

1 cup orange juice

4 oz champagne

Mix brandy, port and juice and pour over ice. Add champagne and toast to the New Year.
