Pros
• Execute applications without wait time: The Droid X can maneuver through apps extremely well. There is no lagging in time between opening and running different applications. This improves the overall performance of the phone.
• Amazing quality of photos: There is an 8mp HD camera built in with dual flash and 720 pixel video capture. This means that is has amazing photo quality. The Droid X has supported image formats of JPEG, GIF, AGIF, BMP, and WBMP.
• Great video playback: You can expect a great video playback on the 854x480 main display with clear quality picture.
• Large 4.3 inch screen: A large screen provides increased viewing pleasure and just simply makes everything look better.
• Can be used a mobile hotspot: Looking for Wi-Fi? This phone can become a 3G mobile hotspot that can support up to five different devices.
Cons
• Stiff external buttons: The side buttons on the phone tend to be stiff at first. But overtime, they could break in and become easier and more responsive.
• Camera lags in speed: Although there is an actual built-in shutter on the camera, the shutter speed seems to slower than it could be. This could be why it seems as if the camera lags a little in time.
• Battery life suffers: Because of all the speed and power, the Droid X battery life does suffer a bit. If you plan on doing a lot on your phone all day, it best to be equipped with a spare battery or car charger.
• Phone might be too big for some users: Some say that the phone may too big. Could be the price you pay such a big screen. On the other side, many believe that there is no problem with the size. It is great for those who need a larger screen and phone for easier viewing.
