3. Holistic detox centers encourage a more holistic approach in overcoming drug addiction. Their program includes therapy that is based on natural, sometimes spiritual concepts and does not encourage the use of medications.In order to support your employee through his drug detoxification process, you can choose a drug detox center that also provides after treatment consultations. There are several programs such as behavioral counseling, twelve-step programs and cognitive therapy which can help your employee overcome the habit and be more productive at work again.

It may be a difficult task for employers to help an employee with substance abuse, but doing so will provide more benefits in the long run, as the employee becomes more productive than before.
