DrugFreeAz.org announces the chair of its 2011 DrugFreeAz.org Mall Walk Committee. Steve Cobb, Arizona Fall League executive vice president, will lead the group of volunteers responsible for organizing and fundraising for this unique charity event at the Scottsdale Fashion Square.

"We are thrilled to have Steve Cobb as our committee chair," said Leslie Bloom, CEO, DrugFreeAz.org. "Events like these help keep our mission in motion. Everyday kids are faced with the decision of whether or not to use drugs or drink. Our job is to help parents prepare their children for that one instance that could change the course of their life forever. We encourage everyone young and old to come out and help support our cause."

Billed as Arizona's only indoor mall walk, the fundraising event is slated for September 10, 2011 at the Scottsdale Fashion Square. The Walk length is approximately 45 minutes to one hour, based on your pace.

Last year's event raised nearly $10,000 for the charity. To see the video from last year's walk and to find out more about the DrugFreeAz.org Mall Walk please go to http://www.drugfreeaz.org/walk
