Drugs, Sleepless Nights, Sex Scandal and Rage: What Really Happened to Britney Spears

During the early morning hours of January 31, 2008, Britney Spears once again became the focus of media outlets everywhere when she was removed from her home by ambulance and was taken to a local hospital. The reason? She appeared to be in a mental state that could ultimately lead to Britney hurting someone, or even herself.

According to reports, Britney Spears was being visited by a new psychiatrist at her home in California. During the visit, it became apparent that Britney was in need of immediate help. Several sources inside the residence stated that Britney Spears had been in a concerning mental state since Saturday. According to those sources, Britney had not slept since Saturday and has been in a 'manic' mode. She has been seen driving erratically throughout California and talking in a British accent.

Britney's psychiatrist made the necessary phone calls and within a short time, an ambulance as well as close to a dozen police officers on motorcycles arrived. Britney was wheeled out on the stretcher and was loaded into the ambulance, which had the rear windows covered with a black paper to protect her privacy. She was then escorted to UCLA Medical Center without any problems.

It was just recently that paparazzi caught a very dramatic outburst between Britney Spears and her longtime pal Sam Lufti. In that incident, Britney and Sam pulled up at her home and before they could enter the gated community, Britney Spears jumped out of the car hysterical. She was frantically walking back and forth while clutching her puppy London. For several minutes, Britney sat on the curb crying and very distraught.

Now with Britney Spears inside the UCLA Medical Center in California undergoing a psychiatric evaluation, reports are that she is still out of control. While being admitted, Britney informed the staff that she has been taking Adderall for ADHD and has been awake since Saturday. Then when Lynn Spears (Britney's mother) arrived, Britney started screaming that Lynn was sleeping with her boyfriend.

Currently, Britney Spears is being held on a 5150 hold - which means that she is mandated to remain in the hospital for evaluation for at least 72 hours as she has evidence against her that she is a threat to herself and/or others.

It is very clear that all of the recent events have been warning signs of a serious cry for help by Britney. Hopefully she will get the help that she needs and can finally gain control of her life.

I also just feel so sorry for her and her kids. One thing that I have mentioned before. They should take her back home to the little town she came from and get her help away from the public eye. The worse thing for anyone is to try to get help in the public view. Hopefully she can pull it together for her children. God bless them.

I feel kind of sorry for her. It isn't any wonder she would be in a psych ward with all of the madness around her all of the time. She has absolutely no peace at all. Hopefully she will get the help she needs.
