Inexperienced Drivers: These drivers just don't have the experience to know how to react to situations on the road. These are usually young people, and along with inexperienced, they are also ones that may be on the cell phones, playing with the radio, and texting on their phones while driving. These drivers also are more apt to drive faster than the speed limit.
Medicated Drivers: Experienced drivers who are taking new or different medications can be dangerous while driving. Whether it is over the counter or prescription can be groggy from the medication if they are unaware of how the medication will affect them.
Drowsy or Sleepy Drivers: These drivers are more than just over the road truck drivers. These are people who worked long hours, didn't sleep much the night before, third shift workers, and people going on long trips. It has happened to allot of drivers, who are close to their destinations and even though they are sleepy just want to get there. Dozing off at the wheel is a real problem on the roads. This can happen at any time of the day or night.
Elderly Drivers: These drivers have slower reaction times, and also many have problems with judgments with distances.
Aggressive Drivers: These drivers are just having a bad day and want to take it out on anyone on the roads. They will tailgate, speed, pass on roads that are dangerous, and make dangerous judgments. The best thing to do is to get out of their way and let them go on so that you are not involved in an accident with them.
Drunk Drivers and Drivers under the Influence of illegal drugs: You can never predict how these drivers will react. Their reaction times to avoid accidents are impaired and they may even pass out while driving.
These drivers are on the roads every day. You probably pass many of these drivers without even knowing it. When you are driving yourself, you want to make sure everyone is buckled up and you are aware of the cars around you. If you have to pull over to let a car pass that you don't feel comfortable driving in front of or near then do it. You may save not only your life, but the lives of the passengers in your vehicle
