Since the recent past there has been an increase in the number of persons suffering from back pain. It is said that poor eating habits and stress also causes backaches. Apart from the conventional methods, there are other procedures for treating backache.
A person suffering from backache in the normal course visits his doctor who is a general physician, who after initial treatment and investigations and depending on the severity of the problem refers the patient to the back pain specialist. There are various specialized lines of treatment for the backache. Some of these specialized treatments suggest surgery as one of the best way of treating spinal problems. At the same time other specialists suggest non invasive methods which are safer.
The new line of recognized treatment of backache is the 'non-surgical spinal decompression therapy'. This is done by DRX 9000 protocol which has now offered effective non invasive methods to treat spinal problem.
Following specialties are available for treatment of backache:

Orthopedist: He is specialized in bones and joints including spinal care. He examines whether the patient requires surgery. Normally, an Orthopedist, suggests non surgical methods.
Neurosurgeons: He is specialized in dealing with spinal disorders, nerves and peripheral nerves. His lines of treatment are both surgical and non-surgical.
Spinal decompression: This line of treatment is done by use of DRX 9000 instrument to decompress the spinal system. The treatment is normally done for twenty days spread over about thirty minutes on each day. This is a non invasive method, where many patients with backache have reported reduction of pain. As said earlier, this line of treatment has now been recognized in the medical field.
