Dry as a Bone
The sky opens in your eyes.
I fly into them like a bird into the sky.
Cover your eyes
And I fall back to earth.
*
Dry as a bone,
And turned to dust.
*
This is your sky where I'm drowned.
This is your desert where I'm lost.
I crawl on my knees
And turn my face to you:
My oasis,
My oasis.
