Dry Skin Disappears with Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion

Susan Slade
I love body lotions and moisturizers, and nothing pleases me more that getting them for free. I purchased the Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion, at CVS for $6.99 and received the same amount of money back in their 'extra bucks', towards my next store purchase.

The size of the bottle is 8.4 fluid ounces (250 ml.). It is a flat bottle, which makes for easy storage. It is white with a red flip up top. On the front of the bottle it has the name of the product, and it also states that it "Strengthens skin's protective barrier against external elements. Enhances skin health."

I read the back of the bottle, and it says that it provides 24 hour moisture, so I didn't use it that day but waited until morning. I took my shower and figured that this would be the best time to try the product.

It was easy to hold the slim bottle in my right hand, flip the top with my left one, and then squeeze a little of the body lotion into the palm of my hand. I then set down the bottle, rubbed my hands together, and proceeded to rub the Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying Body Lotion, into my skin.

The first thing I noticed was that the fragrance is hardly noticeable. The lotion isn't the thickest lotion, and runs slightly. It rubs into the skin quickly, and easily. It doesn't leave a greasy feel to it.

I used it on my body, apart from my feet. I do prefer Dr. Scholl's for her foot serum as that gives me great results.

The body lotion really goes a long way. I only used an amount equivalent to the size of a quarter. After rubbing it in I felt my hands, as they probably had most of the lotion on them, and they were totally hydrated, and slightly shiny. The dry cracking that I sometimes get on my elbows and knees were completely gone.

Eucerin in a brand that I trust, and this product is no exception.

Throughout the day I washed my hands on numerous occasions, and they didn't get dry. I walked for an hour, and my hands, knees down to my ankles, (I had shorts on) were open to the elements. My skin didn't dry at all.

The next morning I got up, and my hands weren't as soft, or smooth as they had been when I first used the product. However, it was 24 hours later, and time for more Eucerin Daily Skin Balance Skin-Fortifying body Lotion.

I have been using this lotion everyday for 2 weeks and my body is totally hydrated.

What Eucerin have to say about their product:

"Enhances Skin Health and Balance.
Strengthens skin's protective barrier.
Fast absorbing.
Provides 24 hour moisturization.
Lightly fragranced.

Directions:
Smooth over skin daily. For best results apply directly after showering or bathing."

Eucerin contains provitamins B5, glycerin, and a pH5-buffer.

Eurcerin have a promise. "High quality ingredients and clinically-proven formulas that help keep your skin healthy. Eucerin skin care is so effective that it's been trusted by dermatologists for years."

I agree with them, and if the price is right, Eucerin in the product that I will purchase over other brands. However, this savvy shopper will try other products for free, or almost free.
