Plenty of desire
Driven, excitable
But no content, outpouring,
eruption, or satisfaction
Cold, dark, lonely,
Waiting, silenced, stagnant
Ambivalent but not indifferent
What else can I do?
Seeking, searching, yearning
Holding out, holding on
Needing, wanting
Something, anything
Nothing... still nothing
After all this time
Of hoping, trying, wishing
What else is there to do?
