Dual HD6430 - Too Much Radio for Ya Babe!

David Crass
At first glance the Dual brand car stereos don't seem like much sitting on a shelf next to Sony, Phillips, and other name brand stereo equipment. But at prices ranging from $40 (60 watt basic USB stereo) to $100 (full USB, CD, HD, and BLUETOOTH) these stereos will catch your eyes.

I purchased the $90 XHD6430 at Walmart, easily installed it in minutes, and was up and running with an MP3 filled Flash drive as I drove away from the Walmart parking lot. This stereo is a 200 watt model, can be upgraded to Bluetooth for your phone, it has a front mounted USB slot, Direct Ipod control from the USB slot, aux input on the front as well, and sports HD capabilities. The sound is great and actually sounded better then the stereo I had before that cost me twice the amount

What impressed me most about this stereo was the price. For the same features in a Sony they wanted more than 3 times the price, For a Phillips it was double, and even the old Durabrand was $40 more. While we all expect lower prices at Walmart, this price was great. The included remote was just a sweet little bonus as it allows you to access ALL the features from it without having to take your eyes off the road.

I would say that if you are looking for a new car stereo this would be a must see. For the price, the amount of features and the wonderful installation manual I would give this product serious concideration before dropping more on a name brand. This is a brand to watch as Samsung was in the 80's and 90's. If they continue to make products like this they will soon take their place among the giants.
