DUALphone 3088 for Skype Communication

I own a dual phone 3088 Skype headset and I must say that it is well worth the money that it costs. I spent $70 on the phone, which I thought was a lot of money because I could get a regular corded phone for about $3 at a local store. This is a big expense for me but it is well worth it because of everything that the phone offers you. First, let me say that the reason I decided to get this is because it is cordless and I figure that the regular cordless phone sells for around $40 and this would usually be for the lower end phones, which have pretty limited reception and range so that you could not step very far away from the base. However, the dual phone 3088 phone that I received was great because of the fact that the reception was great and I could move 35 feet from the base and it would still work perfectly. As I mentioned it does not require that you stay connected to a cord and this phone works with the Skype service. The reason you would be interested in this is because of the fact that it can say you a large amount of money on phone bills that you would be spending with your local telephone company.

Before I got this phone with the Skype service I was spending $60 a month on unlimited calls, which covered the United States and Canada. When I would call Mexico I would have to spend a lot more and this became a problem for me because I just wanted a flat rate. There is an option plan for unlimited calling around the world for just $10 a month, which includes unlimited calling to Mexico. This meant that I was able to call my family that is located there and also check up on my uncle who lives there and just had a heart attack. When I had standard service I would have to buy phone cards to do this and there was always a hidden fee so that my cards expired quickly. This never happened with Skype all I paid is one flat fee each month. The phone has a Skype button that you can press and it will connect you with other Skype users on your friends list over the Internet. This service is free of charge and it also includes all the features like 3-way calling and call waiting which I was charged extra for at the phone company. This is a wonderful phone that works flawlessly and the quality is top notch.
