Duelist Pack 4 Zane Truesdale Hits the Yu-Gi-Oh World

With the release of the newest set of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game, Strike of Neos, we have seen a lot of excitement. A ton of new and innovative cards have hit the scene and literally changed the face of the game. However good this may all be, in some ways it over shadows the release of the newest duelist pack set. We saw the success with Jaden and Chazz oriented packs, and now we get to see what Zane is made of.

Zane Truesdale is one of the greatest duelists in the anime Yu-Gi-Oh GX and many people have wanted to copy or mimic his deck in some way. His Cyber Dragon machine deck was amazing in the show, and even variations of the deck have made many tournament appearances in the real TCG world. His most famous card, Cyber Dragon, is a staple part in almost every deck, and his fusions are renowned for their immense power.

The duelist pack expansions are great because they tone down the rarity of many hard to find and expensive cards. Cyber Dragon is a 15 - 25 dollar super rare card from an out of print set, and now we see it reincarnated in a rare form. So many cards are seen on the show and have amazing powers, but are virtually unattainable to the general public. What the duelist packs bring to the game is a factor of fun rather then for the purpose of being collected and sold at extremely high and ridiculous prices.

Some of the cards featured in the new packs may surprise even veteran players. The Ultra rare and Super rare cards are all new, but the commons and rares are all reprints of higher rarity cards in previous sets. They include the following.

Cyber Dragon - With this card in full circulation and available to the general public many more players will have better decks. Novice and armatures will be more likely to stand a chance in local and regional events.

Cyber Twin Dragon - The Fused form of 2 Cyber Dragons this card is a rare now rather then a super rare from an out of print set. Many times players were lucky to have even one of these cards in a fusion deck, now they can easily have two or three.

Cyber End Dragon - The Ultra rare that has fetched over 50 dollars on E-bay in the past is now just a rare. Any player can now have this powerful card, as well the 3 Cyber Dragons needed to perform the fusion.

Chiimeratech Overdragon - This card has been responsible for many one turn kills during it's life time, and is now available to any and everyone. Long time players will be thrilled to have such a powerful and previously rare card become so useable and obtainable.

Power Bond - Adding to the theme of the machine decks we see Power Bond come from Ultra Rare to regular Rare. This card is a must in almost every machine/fusion deck, and with its release in these new duelist packs more and more common players can use its immense power.

Other cards in the pack include some amazing commons as well. Cards like De-Fusion, Call of the Haunted, Proto Cyber Dragon, and Limiter Removal all come to use in a common form. These cards will add a ton of power to any fusion deck, but especially work well in the deck these packs intend to create.

The Zane Truesdale packs are absolutely amazing making this set the most powerful, playable, and fun expansion to come out of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG to date. Anyone who wants to make a good solid and competitive deck will be well off pick up a few of these packs, as well as anyone wanting to mimic a deck used by one of Yu-Gi-Oh GX's most famed and respected duelist. Bad for collectors great for players, Zane Truesdale's duelist packs are a welcomed site to this gaming community.
