Duke Rape Accuser Has Baby

Alleged Victim in Duke Lacrosse Team Rape Gives Birth to a Baby Girl

Exactly nine months to the March 14, 2006, day that a woman hired to perform as a stripper told police that she had been raped by three Duke University lacrosse team members, the unnamed accuser has given birth to a baby girl.

The unnamed Duke rape case accuser giving birth to a baby girl tonight in Chapel Hill at UNC Hospitals is the latest shocker in a case that has rocked the city of Durham, N.C., at large.

Julia Lewis of WRAL broke the news of the Duke rape case accuser giving birth to a baby late Thursday at UNC Hospitals. The general public did not know until the accuser gave birth that the woman at the center of the controversial Duke rape case was expecting a baby at all.

WRAL attempted to contact the alleged victim by calling her boyfriend's home Thursday evening, but reported that the person who answered the phone "had no comment and then hung up."

The accuser, 24, has delivered her baby one day before a scheduled hearing in the case that has put Duke lacrosse team players David Evans, 23, Collin Finnerty, 20, and Reade Seligmann, 20, in the spotlight.

After the fateful party, the accuser was taken to a local hospital to be examined, where no sign of an impending baby or pregnancy was evident at the time of the Duke lacrosse team party, a defense attorney said. He reported that a test taken at the hospital revealed the accuser was not pregnant in March, and that she was given emergency contraception -- commonly known as the morning-after pill.

News of a baby being born to the Duke rape case accuser may add fuel to the fire for attorneys who filed a motion this week, which they said shows male DNA from multiple sources present on the accuser on the night of the alleged rape.

None of this DNA was from their clients, the lawyers claim. They are also asking in a different motion that the judge throw out the photo lineup that the Duke rape accuser used to identify the defendants, because the photos reportedly did not contain any other faces than those of Duke lacrosse team members.

How news of a new baby born to the woman -- a divorced mother of two -- at this juncture will affect the outcome or timing of the Duke rape case trial remains to be seen. Attorneys for the defendants, however, hope that the motions filed today will lead to charges being dismissed on Friday.

The plot continues to thicken regarding this case. Although, the rape charges have been dropped, I don't understand why all the other charges continued to stick. The accuser's credibility now appears to be at zilch level and the D.A. obviously used this case to inflame the black community enough to re-elect him. It will surely be intriguing to find out how this whole fiasco ends.

SO is Mike Nifong going to test DNA from the entire Duke Football team or the NCCU's Football team to fing out who's the lucky chef who added to the soup.

I wonder how much sperm one vigina can hold!
