Dumb and Funny Laws of New Hampshire

1. You may not tap your feet, nod your head, or in any way keep time to the music in a tavern, restaurant, or cafe.

This can't be a law, seriously, it's too nineteen-fifties.
2. You cannot sell the clothes you are wearing to pay off a gambling debt.

There goes strip poker for those wo play it. Becuase your clothes are in place of money.
3 It is considered an offense to check into a hotel under an assumed name.Full text of the law.

4. It is illegal to pick seaweed up off of the beach. Full text of the law.

If you like seaweed sandwiches, then you're out of luck.
5. Any cattle that crosses state roads must be fitted with a device to gather its feces.

Otherwise known as a poop-bag.
6. You may not run machinery on Sundays.

It is th seventh day. A day of rest.
7. On Sundays citizens may not relieve themselves while looking up.

9. If a person is caught raking the beaches, picking up litter, hauling away trash, building a bench for the park, or many other kind things without a permit, he/she may be fined $150 for "maintaining the national forest without a permit".

Do you get in trouble if you take your family for a picnic on the beach? Becuase if you pick up your garbage from your picnic, you are technically violating the local law.
