DUMBO's very own Dewey's Candy was featured in the New York Times on October 28, 2010. The article highlighted candy stores around the city. Owner Alison Oblonsky told the New Times that the reason she opened up her store was because it, "makes people so happy."

This isn't the first time that this Front Street shop has received recognition from the press. Dewey's Candy was named Best Candy Shop in the Village Voice's Best of New York 2010 issue and Best Sweets Shop in New York Magazine's Best of New York Shopping 2010 issue.
