Dunkin' Donuts Coffee: Make it at Home

Paula Myers
Dunkin' Donuts Coffee is the leading retailer of hot regular coffee-by-the-cup in the United States. They sell nearly 2.7 million cups of coffee a day. Dunkin' Donuts Coffee is the largest coffee and baked goods chain in the world . They also sell more hot regular coffee, iced coffee, donuts, and bagels than any other quick service restaurant in America. Dunkin' Donuts Coffee are also ranked number one in customer loyalty in the coffee category by the 2007 Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Engagement Index.

Dunkin' Donuts Coffee has decided to expand its product. Focused on loyalty and convenience, customers can now enjoy the taste of Dunkin' Donuts Coffee at home. The coffee is now available in the coffee aisle at your favorite grocery store. Dunkin' Donuts Coffee is available in several flavors to include: Original Blend, Dunkin' Decaf, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Cinnamon Spice. You can buy a 12 ounce package of coffee for a suggested retail price of $7.99. You can also buy a 40 ounce package for $15.99. I think that the price is a bit steep. Customers will be paying for the Dunkin' Donuts name.

I recently received a free sample of Dunkin' Donuts Coffee in the mail. The sample flavor was the Original Blend, Medium Roast variety and was enough for 4 cups of coffee. I made the Dunkin' Donuts Coffee in my Sunbeam Coffee pot. Nothing special about the aroma coming from the coffee. It smelled like regular coffee. Dunkin' Donuts Coffee tasted like regular coffee too. But, the coffee had a real nice kick to it. It must be the 100 % Arabica Coffee beans. After drinking 1 ½ cups of coffee, I was ready to get up and get moving.

In my opinion, I thought the taste of Dunkin' Donuts Coffee was O.K. It didn't have a special taste to me. I've never drank a cup of coffee at a Dunkin' Donuts before so I don't know how its homebrewed coffee compares to its restaurant coffee. I would not go to the grocery store and purchase it for myself. The price is way too expensive. Folgers coffee is my favorite coffee and I will keep on buying it. I've bought it for years and I think that it is the best. Sometimes I drink Maxwell House coffee. I buy it if it's on sale and cheaper than Folgers.

ok so I am a teen, just starting to enjoy the taste of coffee...I get my coffee all of the time at DD and I always have it with extra cream and 2 sugar..However, I don't have the money or the time to continue going to DD, so I want to start making it at home. I kno how to make the coffee itself, but when it comes to the cream and sugar, I get confussed. I tried many times to get the perfect cup, but no luck! Please help me out here by letting me kno how many ounces, cups, teaspons, etc. of both cream and sugar so that I can get the same, or at least a similiar taste to the one I get at DD!~ Thanks so much!

We took home a huge bag of this and it still tastes great. Every time I make some, I think of how much time and money we are saving compared to driving to a coffee chain, standing in line, etc. No wasted gas in driving, no time spent standing in line and no one to bump into me and spill coffee on my blouse. I can spill the coffee without any help ;).....seriously, super article and I do like Dunkin' Donuts coffee!

Love the smooth tast but it is a bit pricy, as I drink lots of coffee.

I just got a free sample of this from walmart.com. My husband loved it, but it's a little bit pricey. Great article!

I love Dunkin' Donuts coffee, but I agree the buy to take home grounds are expensive. I stick to instant coffee at home, because no matter which brand I have tried I can not make a good tasting pot of coffee. I usually do not like Folgers coffee, but I had a friend who served excellent tasting coffee and her brand was Folgers. I wonder if it is in the city water that makes one brand taste so great one place and lousy at another.
