Duraflame Electric Stove with Heater Makes a Great Holiday Gift

Lisa Riggs
As much as I love my home, I truly miss having a fireplace or wood burning stove during the coldest months of the year. My husband recently surprised me with the Duraflame Electric Stove with Heater. While nothing compares to the warmth and coziness of a real fire, this product definitely makes a great substitute.

This little electric stove was purchased at our local warehouse shopping club for only ninety nine dollars. Considering the fact that this same model and style was selling for well over one hundred dollars last year, I feel like we scored a great bargain. It measures 28" w x 23.22" h x12.2" d, so it can easily fit into a small corner of the home. It has a black finish and a clear glass window in the front making it very suitable for all types of decor. The top does not emit any heat, so nick knacks can be artfully displayed on it as well.

One of the features I love the most about this electric stove is the realistic flames and glowing logs. It truly has the cozy feel of a real wood burning stove, which makes it a lovely addition to a home decorated for the holidays. There is something very heart warming and relaxing about gazing at a fire. For those of us who do not have the luxury of a real fireplace, this stove definitely offers a bit of that warmth and coziness.

Not only does this product add to the aesthetics of the home, it also helps to reduce heating costs. It features a 1350 watt heater which warms a room up to four hundred feet. The price of heating oil is up again this winter, so this stove can definitely help to keep more money in the bank over the course of the season. The thermostat is adjustable and is located behind the glass door. There is also a dimmer control, which makes it simple to adjust the brightness of the logs and flames.

As with any electric appliances, this stove has certain restrictions to ensure it is used safely and appropriately. It should only be used indoors and away from any wet, damp or moist areas. Any flammable items should be kept at a distance of three feet from the heating element.

The Duraflame Electric Stove with Heater is truly a wonderful product. It's inexpensive price and capability to supplement heating costs make it a very smart purchase. It adds a very cozy and warm feeling to a home. The small stature of it makes it perfect for a living room or kitchen. I love this stove so much I plan on gifting one to my father for Christmas. I rate this product a full five out of five stars. Until we move to our next home, or add a wood burning stove to this one, I will enjoy this quality electric one.
