DVD Review: Tae Bo® 2004 Capture the Power: Power

When you combine strength and energy along with a firm foundation, power is sure to follow. This is the philosophy behind the Tae Bo® 2004 Capture the Power fitness series by Billy Blanks. The last DVD in the series is Tae Bo® Power. All of the routines and techniques learned in the Tae Bo®, Tae Bo® Energy, and Tae Bo® Strength culminate in an explosive workout called Tae Bo® Power.

Since rediscovering Tae Bo®, I have been blown away by this series of fitness DVD's. My body has undergone a major transformation that continues the more I use Billy Blanks' awesome workout series. My balance is better and my roundhouse kicks are on point. You don't need a martial arts background to master the routines in these DVD's but those who see you workout would swear you did. Tae Bo® is a proven, time-tested combination of aerobics and martial arts that sculpts lean muscles and a rock hard abdominal area. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself.

Tae Bo® Power focuses on putting all of your energy and strength into uppercut and cross punches, and roundhouse, side, and front kicks. Billy Blanks uses speed bag punches, like in boxing, to develop the bicep and deltoid regions of the upper arm. The quicker and more powerful your kicks and punches are, the tighter your abdominal muscles become.

I have lost fifty-four pounds of fat and several inches off of my body by using this series of DVD workouts. None of my clothes fit me anymore. My co-workers can't believe the change in me. I have more energy to play with my children now. When anyone asks me how I have done it, I say that I've done it all with God, Billy Blanks, and Tae Bo® 2004 Capture the Power.

As with other DVD's in the series, Billy takes you slowly through the routines first before he adds the power. His energy connects with mine through the screen. The encouraging words he shares make me feel that I can conquer any fitness mountain if I just put my mind to it.

I would recommend Tae Bo® Power to anyone familiar with the Tae Bo® workout who wants to reach an all new level. The half pound weighted Tae Bo® balls are used in this DVD to increase the power output. In conjunction with a healthy eating plan, you will see results in a few short weeks. Don't give up and you too will capture the power.
