Two of Dancing with the Stars celebrities, professional dancer Cheryl Burke and Season 11 dance contestant Bristol Palin are in the news but for very different reasons.

According to a report by People, Cheryl Burke said that she was molested by a family friend whom she eventually testified about in court. The result? The man was sentenced to nearly 20 years in prison.

Burke has written a book, Dancing Lessons, and describes her painful ordeal as a child because of the molestation by a retired mailman.

As a young five-year-old, Burke (now 26) recalled how the retiree would pick her up from school at times and also perform odd jobs at her home. Burke waited until the time the man was accused by others of the same thing before speaking up.

Burke also explained how hard it was to testify against the man stating, "I felt guilty for wanting his love and affection." She also said facing him in court made her even question whether or not he really did anything wrong to begin with.

However, after extensive therapy Burke learned that the abuse was indeed wrong and she hopes that her story will help others.

Former DWTS Season 11 contestant Bristol Palin, 20, is in the news again as she begins life post-Dancing.

Palin just recently purchased her first home in Maricopa, AZ with the money she earned after her stint on the most popular dance show in America, and now is in talks to work on radio at a local station in Phoenix.

According to a report by CBS, Palin met with management last Friday (January 21) to discuss the possibility of working alongside Mix 96.9's Matthew Blades on his morning show.
