Developed into a narrative story, Beowulf will show in movie theaters in the U.S. and many foreign countries. Imax Corporation, an entity of movie theaters with international holdings presents the new film starting in mid-November and was produced by Paramount, Shangri-La and Warner Bros. film studios. The film director for Beowulf, Robert Zemickis, also produced "Forrest Gump," "The Polar Express," "Back to the Future" and "What Lies Beneath" movies.

The original Beowulf story is from a 9th century classic epic poem written by an anonymous author in West Saxon dialect but not discovered until the 10th century. Beowulf is a Scandinavian king who seeks salvation and acquiescence for the Nordic land and Danes against a core seated monster and second monster who have spooked and ravaged Beowulf's family, friends, counselors, soldiers, kingdom and allies. The Nordic leader blessed with a sense of the uncanny sets out with a loyal troupe of soldiers to slay the antagonizers aboard a ship. Set in the time of the Anglo-Saxon nomads and early Christians, perhaps Beowulf seeks to squelch the haunt of ancient beliefs and pitfalls. More than one interpretation have been translated from ancient language by lexicographers and historians into one of the most beautiful epic examples in the English language.

Beowulf's Christian voice inclines him to defend rather than to embattle and originate an empire, the original poem 3,182 lines. The new film is presented using digital technology for crystal clear color and crisp imaging, and to enhance live action. An all-star cast of actors and actresses include Ray Winstone, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Robin Wright Penn, Brendan Gleeson, Crispin Glover, Alison Lohman and Angelina Jolie. Graphic novelist Neil Giaman projects screen enhancement and Pulp Fiction writer Roger Avary adapts Beowulf into a powerful, narrative and enjoyable film.

It's hard to say how real the beliefs of the early nomads were. Perhaps their "monsters" were once seen as recorded dinosaurs, very large bears, or a vicious queen and son resembling titans or Grendel bore dragon garb. The writer of Beowulf created an epic narrative poem of complex lamentation and plea to our maker for help and guidance, and reliance of very loyal soldiers. The one thing there is no disagreement over, the work is a masterpiece and recording of early Christian culture, a true work of human art. Beowulf is driven by a terrific responsibility of protecting his country and the Danes from destruction and procurement of freedom. The modern film production is a surefire fix for our time log curiosity about our own development and documents early civilized thinking and organized politics, and interestingly enough, a step from "Back to the Future" to back to early times.

Imax Theaters are located in the United States, Canada, Argentina, Australia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guatemala, Israel, Hong Kong,Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Kingdom. All these countries have planned to present the new Beowulf film beginning on Nov. 16, 2007, whenever technical difficulties do not interrupt.
