Early Preview of What Might Be This Year's Black Friday Bargains

Websites Are Posting Adscans

Black Friday is just around the corner. It is the Friday after Thanksgiving. This year that date comes a little later than the past few years, meaning shoppers will have less time after Black Friday to purchase their holiday gifts. This will make Black Friday that much more important for many shoppers this year. The websites and message boards that are out there leaking sale information before the flyers are officially distributed on Thanksgiving and the day before are hinting at what this year's hot items could be.

It looks like technology once again will be king. Don't expect to find major price cuts on gaming systems, but if you are willing to purchase a Wii with a few games, and controllers bundled together you could save between 25 and 40 percent on that Wii bundle. Xbox360 has an arcade version (meaning smaller hard drive) selling for close to $200, once again savings can be had when purchasing this with a game and controller bundle. Bundles are also available for the PS3 on Black Friday to save money.

Digital cameras look like they might be one of the hot items this year. Many retailers are advertising digital cameras between 7 and 9 megapixels for under $100 on Black Friday from the advertisements that have been leaked on Christmas shopping message boards so far. Compact flash cards are also being advertised as good deals between $10 and $20 for over one GB on Black Friday. Other digital gifts include digital photo frames for under $75 this Black Friday. Some after rebates are under $50.

So far the big deals that have become typical most Black Fridays for laptops and televisions haven't been announced yet. Speculation is that there will possibly be some laptop computers in the $150-200 range and possibly 42 inch flat screen televisions around $600 or a little less. The televisions and laptops are just rumors though as they have not been seen in the leaked ads yet at those prices.

Remember, these adscans that are leaked and posted on websites might not stay there long, as many companies fight to have them removed as soon as they are released. There are many message boards out there with information though if you seach for your Christmas shopping at Black Friday sales.

  • Appears gaming system bundles will be strong bargains this year.
  • Digital cameras and digital photo frames can be found cheaper this year than last.
  • No major discounts have been discovered for laptops and televisions yet, but rumors are swirling.
Companies are fighting with the Black Friday sale websites that post the adscans before the official release date and issuing cease and desist orders. So message boards might be your best source, but they aren't always correct.
