Earn Money on the Web

Everyone is looking for it...an easy way to make money. I'm no exception to this rule. For the last ten years I've sat in my office day after day coming up with what my brother and I call the "Million Dollar Idea." We think of some grand idea that will make us millions and we won't have to work any longer. Well, I'm still here, sitting in my office, still working on coming up with new ideas. I have, however, over the years discovered ways that DO make money and you have to do very little. What's the catch? Well, these ideas do make money, but they don't make a lot of money. Sign up for a couple of these sites and dedicate a little bit of time and you might have found a way to pay for some of those little extra items that you just can't normally justify spending the extra cash on.

So, here is what I've found over the years:

ePoll.com - This site has you take online surveys for points. Collect enough points and you can trade them in for gift cards to various places. Don't like gift cards? Exchange the points for money deposited to your PayPal account.

Associated Content - Hey! You are already on this site now! If you aren't a member, sign up. Associated Content allows you to publish articles, photos, videos and sound clips. Get paid for upfront based on a review of your work and/or get paid for Internet surfers reading/viewing your work.

Mint Articles - This one is very similar to Associated Content, but handles payments a bit differently. You have to connect your Google Adsense account (see below) to your Mint Articles account. Then Google ads show up on your articles and you get paid for the clicks on those advertisements.

Google Adsense - Google adsense pays you for displaying advertisements on your own web page from advertisers who have paid Google. For example, if Exxon pays Google to advertise their website, then Google will push that add to your website through Google Adsense. Every time someone clicks the ad, you get paid.

Amazon Associate - This is a powerful one. Check for the link at the bottom to join Associates. You get paid for referring people to buy items off of Amazon. Put links on your site and every time someone uses that link to buy an item from Amazon, you get a percentage. The more items you sell, the higher the percentage goes.

Buy.com Affiliate - I haven't signed up for this one, but the idea is the same as Amazon's above.

That is my list of tried and true easy money websites. I'm sure there are hundreds more, or even thousands. Watch out for scan sites though. You generally have to provide some amount of personal information to each of these types of sites. Don't sacrifice your own personal information if it is a company you aren't sure about.
