To succeed you will need a competent party with a strong tank, experienced healer and excellent DPS (damage per second), the faster you kill, the faster you will complete the instance. In order to complete the Culling of Stratholme on time, you must continuously pull and defeat the scourge packs and keep moving. This requires the entire party to push, kill constantly, manage mana and work together. Stay focused on earning the reins of the bronze drake.
With gear from Uludar becoming more plentiful and heroics rewarding players with emblems of conquest, it is becoming easier to find a party that is strong enough to complete COH (Culling of Stratholme) fast enough to defeat the Infinite Corrupter and earn the bronze drake. To have a chance to succeed at the instance, your each of your damage dealers should be able to do 2,500 damage per second.
The healer should have about 2,000 spell power and 400 mana regeneration. When I heal a timed COH run on my priest, I use a Flask of Pure Mojo and food buffs even though I have excellent mana regeneration. If you take the instance as seriously as you would a raid, your chances of success for your group are that much better.
Assuming that your party is well enough geared having good strategy will help you finish the instance on time. Do not waste time or kill extra mobs, manage zombies through area of effect spells and keep moving as a group. If you make the town hall with 15 minutes to spare, you are on track to completing COH on time and earning the reins of the bronze drake!
You should have Epoch down and be heading into the final undead gauntlet with Arthas at the 10 minute mark. Do not rush through the undead gauntlet so fast that your healer can't keep up with you. One wipe during the timed COH run is enough to keep you from succeeding so push but don't rush. Keep an eye on your healer's mana and move through the undead gauntlet quickly but not so fast that the party will be overwhelmed.
When you reach the end of the undead gauntlet, do not talk to the NPCS, instead immediately engage the Infinite Corruptor and congratulations on getting the reins of the bronze drake! If you got to the end and didn't win the reins of the bronze drake, add people who also want the bronze drake to your friends list and keep going back with guild mates daily until you get it!
