Earning Money Online with Oodle and Craigslist

The previous article that I wrote was about how you can use eBay to sell items online and earn money. However, eBay is not the online site like this out there, and certainly not the only one I use. Two other great sites that I sell items on are Oodle and Craigslist. Although these two sites may not be as well known as eBay, they are very promising and definitely worth a try. There are several key differences between Oodle/Craigslist and eBay:

1. Oodle and Craigslist are not just for selling items like eBay, but also for offering jobs and services. For instance, you can find people in your area that need a tutor for their kids.

2. Oodle and Craigslist don't have any auctions like eBay, only the buying and selling of items.

3. Both websites depend more on communication with potential buyers. If no one views or responds to your listing, or if you don't respond to them, items simply won't sell.

These are the three main differences I believe are noteworthy between when comparing Oodle and Craigslist to eBay. One more important aspect is the listing of items themselves. Although similar to eBay where you have categorize your items, Oodle and Craigslist do not charge for listings like eBay does in most cases. Additionally, the listings stay up for 30 days on Oodle and 45 days on Craigslist. This increases the chances that someone will see your ad and you will garner interest. Signing up for either Oodle or Craigslist is relatively simple. Personally, I use all three. Although there is an Oodle Pro upgrade, I do not believe it is necessary. By expanding the horizons where you sell your items, you triple the likelihood that they will be sold.

If you have any questions or remarks, please feel free to leave me a comment. I love to hear from my readers! Happy selling! =)
