Earning with Sponsored Emails

Getting Paid to Read Emails

Aiman
People all over, have always been attracted to the possibility of earning money online. And, one of the major attractions was Paid To Read emails. Although, Paid To Read (PTR), is no longer as hot as it was a few years back, there are still many newbies on the Internet that are attracted to 'easy money'. And, these PTRs never fail to grab their attention with their gimmicks and false claims. The end result is that the PTRs make money, through dirt cheap advertisement offers, and the supposed 'readers' never earn a cent.

Making money on the Internet IS possible. However, there is no such thing as 'easy money'. Not even on the Internet. The Internet is no different from the real world. The only difference is that, everything on the Internet is virtual. Virtual shops, virtual trading markets, etc. Although earning money on the Internet requires comparably less hard work (in some situations), hard work IS involved.

Newbies, and amateurs in this field, are often tempted by the concept of 'easy money' and head over to PTRs that offer ridiculously unrealistic money for reading emails. They waste their precious time, money, etc reading countless number of emails, hoping to make it to the minimum payout. The result is that, eventually, they are disappointed.

Most PTRs are scams. They exist to make money. Not to give away money. And, any experienced Internet surfer can easily deduce whether a specific PTR site is legit, or scam.

Look at any PTR site, and you'll see that they offer upto $600 or more for every sponsored email that you read. And to make sure that they make enough money before they scam you, they set the minimum withdrawal rates to an abnormally high amount, such as $600,000 (keeping with the above example). Personally, I have seen a few sites go as far as offering proofs of their previous payment to other members. These so called 'proofs' are nothing but forged screen shots of various payment processors. Infact, they go as far as offering members a supposed 'Gold Subscription' that will remove the minimum withdrawal limit and offer various other benefits. To top up all of this, the prices of these 'Gold Subscriptions' are as high as $300.

Now, if we think about this logically, no company/individual, will ever pay its members $600 or more for reading an email that has a forced timer of 90 seconds or so. If this were possible, you could expect 10-year old kids to be millionaires.
To pay you such a huge amount of money, these PTRs need to make that kind of money from their advertisements. No advertiser, in his right mind, will ever pay a company $600,000 (excluding the PTRs commission, etc), to send out an email to 1,000 members. Half of which would never even care to look at the advertiser's product/service page.

Looking at it the logical way, PTRs not only sound illogical and ridiculous, they are also a waste of your precious time. You spend months reading emails, only to be scammed in the end.
I am not saying that legit PTRs do not exist. But the ratio of legit and paying PTRs is incredibly low. Moreover, their pay rates are so low, that you literally have to slave away to make a few cents.
Most legit PTRs pay about 1/4th of a cent for each email. This means, that to make 1 cent, you have to read 4 emails. This is slavery!

I would suggest, that you learn a few basic webdesign skills, etc. And either start up your own website, popularize it, and make money off it by displaying text advertisements, or, offer your webdesign services to other webmasters who are too busy to do the designing part themselves.
Infact, to make money online, you don't even need to be a webmaster. There are many sites out there that pay you cold hard cash for writing articles, reviews, opinions, etc. Just do a little bit of research, and start earning money.

Making money on the Internet is possible, but you need to work hard in the beginning. The results in the long term are very fruitful.
