Earth Day 2009 the Green Generation

On April 22nd we celebrate Earth Day around the world.

Earth Day you see is a big deal for me,

as I need our Earth to be clean!

So many don't care,

and just litter everywhere,

why can't they see,

we need to be,

more conscious of our environment?

Mother Earth, as many like to call it,

cannot survive our thoughtless behavior,

and uncaring ways.

Why not start a new trend today,

pick up a piece of trash you find on the street,

ride a bike, or walk instead of driving and polluting the air.

There are so many things that we all can do,

we can make this The Green Generation,

but it has to start with me, and with you!
