Earth Day Poem for Elementary School Students
People and plants, even dogs, cats and bears!
Our air and our water should always be clean,
So let's make an effort to keep our earth green!
No matter your age, if you're big or you're small,
Doing your part makes it better for all!
You can ask mom, dad and teachers for help,
But even you can start doing it all by yourself!
Just make it a point to ask yourself "Hey,
What have I done to help my earth today?
Did I recycle plastic or plant a new tree?
Did I pick up the garbage that I always see?
How can I clean up my own neighborhood?"
Asking how I can help always makes me feel good!
If I do my part and help my friends do theirs too,
Our earth will be happy and feel like its new!
Let's keep our earth healthy and tidy and clean,
Happy Earth Day to all - now let's all go be Green!
