Big Oil Field
Big and black, nasty
It used to be blue
There used to be oceans
Many years ago.
Now we have seven oil fields

Rural Highway New Mexico
Integrity is very good
Tumbling ancient karma
In crushing waves of spirit
Into the tar of despair.
The highway of sticky asphalt
Tar of ages past
Little pinky mice scrambling
Across the road in a giant tiny herd.
