Join the Global Movement for Awareness on Climate Change
Saturday, March 29, is when millions of people around the world will be making a statement about climate change by turning their lights off for one hour. It is called "Earth Hour" and was created by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)in 2007. It has turned out to be a growing global movement for awareness.
Two hundred cities around the globe and more than 35 U.S. cities will participate. Lights will be turned off between 8-9 pm on buildings, landmarks, restaurants, and businesses.

DRAT - I'm too late - that's what I get when I'm behind on my reading...
Wow I didn't know this - too late :(
I came back to say we did it, turned out the lights. Entire cities went black, according to the news :)
Fantastic!! :-)
Oops! I'm a bit slow off the mark in reading this (still no e-mail alerts). But it's interesting to see some effort going into helping the environment.
