On of the most popular theories of our planet's origin is that it is of God's creation. Many religious persons, as well as some scientists, embrace the belief that God created the universe and the different steps motivating material and natural development and that these steps then resulted in the formation of the galaxies, our own solar system, and existence on Earth. This theory is known as Theistic evolution or as evolutionary creationism. This theory holds the belief that God exceeds common time and space, with nature having no survival self-sufficient of God's will.
This type of viewpoint can coincide with other beliefs of individual Gods and Goddesses that created the elements while working together to form the solar system. Such as Helios, God of the Sun or Selene, Goddess of the Moon.
The Theistic evolution theory arises many questions that can never be directly answered. Such as; if God created the universe and Earth then how was God created to create all of this? Many religious speakers answer "He just did", or "He should not be questioned." But it is a valid concern for humanity to know the Scientifics of how they came to be. In my thoughts, this theory doesn't stand enough resources to back it up. The resources that are available are scrolls and or books written by humans; therefore have the ability of misinterpretation or possibility of making up a superior being and or theory to give them credit or praise.
Then of course the other popular belief is the Big Bang Theory. This theory supports the idea that the universe came about due to a colossal explosion. The Big Bang derives from mathematical models, observational studies, and principles that are found to give solid evidence of the universes creation. According to the theory, it states that the universe goes through a tremendously high-speed rise that expands within a fraction of a second. Then the excessive heat of electrons and other particles mix. As the atoms and particles charge, still extremely hot, they prevent light from shining, creating a sweltering hot fog. Eventually the electrons merge with additional particles to structure atoms of hydrogen and helium causing light to at last shine. Giant clouds are soon formed by the hydrogen and helium gasses. Weighty elements that are not clustered together are thrown into space to form stars and planets.
My interpretation for the Big Bang Theory is that the particles that were being formed, depending on their make up, could have merged with other particles during high temperatures and solidified when they cooled as the particle moved away from each other at very high speeds. As the universe expanded the particles that were being emitted and absorbed created radiation and when cooled, the particles could no longer be created or destroyed.
Due to the repeated actions of the particles, the forces of gravity, electromagnetic, strong plus weak nuclear combined. Gravity is meaning the natural object attraction, electromagnetic meaning the force on the particles that creates an electric charge, strong and weak nuclear meaning the force of nature that governs the decay or stability of particles that interact. All of which explain a probable natural process of the creation of the universe.
This theory seems a bit more believable only because there are solid scientific facts and observations that have been proven and recreated to determine if there is any truth in the mathematical figures.
Solar Nebula Theory is another proposed theory which can also be referred to as the nebular hypothesis. This hypothesis is what is currently in argument as the formation of the Earth and solar system. This theory gives us the idea that the universe has been formed from the increased rate of liquid either as a vapor, dense liquid, or solid state liquid from a cloud of gas or dust in space that at one time circled the Sun, was thrown off at a variety of phases from which the planets later formed.
This theory assumes that the universe already exists and the large clouds of dust and gas begin to contract due to gravitational forces began rotating with increased speed causing the dust and gas to swell and collect more particles. The masses would then support in becoming the sun with planets forming from the matter in said swelling.
The Solar Nebula Theory also states that in the Sun's early life that it discharged a large blast which blew away the particle materials that were diluted, which explains the unattached floating matter.
This theory seems believable as well, a strange theory, but one that does hold some truth. Considering that if you think about it, the Earth has several different layers to it, the core or the center being the hottest which could trap the heavier particles. Lighter elements or particles would float to form the mantle and or the crust. As the particles are joining and forming the dust and gas swell, it continues to use the gravitational forces to rotate and because this matter did not mesh with the Sun, but remained trapped in its gravitational force causing it to rotate around the Sun.
These three main theories that I have touched upon all have their own stand in the theory of Earth's origin. When considering your agreement to any of these, you have to stop and think. The facts are that everything is made from something. In order to make the water, the Earth had to intake two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen. The Earth has over 3000 different minerals, blending two or more of these minerals can create mountains, canyons, and riverbeds. Other gasses mixed with water or minerals can create a plethora of things, some of them could be living. And whatever doesn't blend properly does not survive.
In conclusion, I think what we all have to remember is that we are all here, on Earth. Whether it be from divine creation or by exploding particles, we are here trying to survive in a world that we can't control. We can try to control the particles in the atmosphere or the number of bacteria that is growing in the grass, but when it all comes down to it, however, whatever, or whoever created this planet has full command. And trying to alter or contaminate what is already given to us, could become a very bad idea for future generations.
